Oxford Innovation is working hard to keep all of its UK Innovation Centres operational and accessible for as long as possible, whilst maintaining a safe environment for our staff and customers. Our position remains: to follow HMG guidelines in achieving our aim and to work jointly with our clients in adapting to local policy. We are heeding the government's latest guidance to avoid non-essential travel and contact with others, and to work from home where possible.
In order to continue to support and provide a service to our customers and clients, we have moved to a 'Parallel Teams' structure. This means that, where possible, we have created two teams in each Innovation Centre to ensure there is adequate cover, with no overlap whatsoever between those teams. A member of our Management Board is working with each centre team to implement these arrangements and build resilience into our operations.
We are also determined to continue to provide a business support service to our customers. To this end we have set up a 'Business Support Hotline'; this can be accessed by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01865 261 500. This service is available to all OI customers throughout the working week (8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday) and will be staffed by one of our Innovation Directors. We want to provide the critical guidance necessary at this time, and signpost as much information as possible on the government support available.
